We've gotta finish this series with the Marlins (who have won 3 outta 4 so far this season), then face the Cardinals (who are stretching out their lead in N.L. Central), then the LA Dodgers (who have won 8 or 9 of their last 10 games) and finally the Boston Red Sox, the reigning World Champs, at Fenway Park. Damn and we're at 16 wins and 16 losses right now. We gotta hang in there.

After all those tough games, we do get a day off on May 19th. Then we play the Pittsburgh Pirates for 3 and Washington Nationals for 4. That sounds good but those games are on the road.

With the exception of facing Arizona and Colorado in the first week, June looks to be a much easier month for the Crew!

Make that 16 wins and 17 losses. We've now lost 5 in a row and 9 of our last 12 games. What the hell is going on? Our road woes continue in 2008! Any answers Ned? Or maybe our hitting coach Jim Skaalen?

It's not just road woes really, they looked shaky at home as well.

They seem almost shell shocked, like they thought they were supposed to be better than this.

I think if anybody goes it's Jim Skaalen. We need a hitting coach with some fire in him. Someone to motivate our guys better, maybe yell once, or applaud once or friggin blink once. C'mon!

Hugh says leave the coaches alone. The players need to start playing better. It's really that simple. Those batting averages are a joke. The pitching has been sorely lacking and the the clutch hitting that bailed us out earlier is gone. It ain't funny anymore.

Doesn't matter who we're playing or where. Just start winning. No more excuses.

Have no fear, despite his sour attitude towards the lackluster crew, Hugh will be excited and cheering in his first deck, first row seat!
