Jeff Suppan was pitching great today. He only gave up 3 hits. So, Ned Yost decides it was time to start worrying about match-ups. Instead of letting Soup finish off his inning, Yost brings in Shouse to face lefty Joey Votto. Well, Suppan was able to get Votto out the first 2 times. Shouse proceeds to give up a 2-run homer and ties the game at 3. Ned, knock that crap off! Trust your guys, screw the "match-ups". This goes for our batters too. Kapler is on fire, sit Gabe Gross, he's sucking eggs.
Let's pull this one out against the Reds. Suppan deserves it (even though he can't get the win, thanks to Ned).
