The 5 and 1 Brewers will be welcoming the revamped Reds and Fransisco Cordero back to Milwaukee tonight. Coco signed a free agent deal with the Reds over the winter and eneded what had been a good relationship with the crew on a sour note. The Brewers offered Cordero $ 42 million over four years to remain the Brewers closer, but he and agent Bean Stringfellow decided that playing in Ohio and never getting to the playoffs was worth $4 million total over the course of those four years. I'm guessing with that extra million a year Fransisco can buy a really nice home theater with cozy chairs and a popcorn maker so he can watch a little postseason baseball in comfort. When Cordero comes to the mound in this series (which would mean the Reds would have to be winning in the ninth, not likely) I hope the fine fans of Milwaukee welcome him back in the fashion he deserves. Boo loudly, but keep the obscenities to yourself. (he really doesn't understand English that well.)
Roadrunner works about as well as the Cubs leadoff hitter.
